En route from Fremantle to Port Irwin with cargo of telegraph poles The weather was too rough tie alongside the jetty, and two anchors were put down but a strong NW wind caused it to drag the anchors. Despite letting go a third anchor the increasing wind drove it onto rocks near the shore in 2m of water.
Underwater
All the telegraph posts were recovered. Julius Brockman, brother of the owner, later recovered an anchor chain, anchor and some tarpaulins. Wreck not found
