Sinking:

En route from Geraldton to Cossack with crew of 3. A northerly wind badly strained the rigging opening hull seams,They turned towards Champion Bay for repairs. When the pumps choked, it was decided to abandon ship. The crew took to the 3m dinghy which later capsized in the surf, but all crew landed safely.
